Wow, thanks for actually putting down some useful information regarding that discussion. I wasn't following your blog at the time, but it seemed most people at the time on both sides were mainly ranting. =)

I think you've got the biggest ones. There's also
- couchtycoon.net (german) - not quite finished perhaps?
- tradevibes.com - a lot like crunchbase, but with discussions, and more centered around evaluation of the company for investment/interest purposes than just information

To me there's definitely something missing in this space. So many unfortunate students end up sucked into the corporate world, never to venture out on their own. So much fun and happiness that could have been had, and so much potential value possibly never created.

The SEOMoz cheat sheet is nice if you want to know the basics of search engine optimization. However, a much more thorough seo cheat sheet seems to be available at EXPERT Webmasters at http://www.expert-webmasters.com/seo-cheatsheet.asp. They say it is an all in one seo cheat sheet that not only covers hundreds of page optimization tips but other critical areas of the seo process like keyword analysis, competitive analysis, website analysis, submitting, linking strategies and search engine rank reporting.

Well, I for one think this is a brilliantly hilarious way to do this, and probably still get your point across. You would have to assume that him writing in this style means either a. this parting is amicable and he's joking around for the sake of joking around - or b. any issues that caused him to resign are well known to this recipient and Stewart thought the idea of re-hashing them seriously was absurd in itself.

Or that something else entirely is going on. Still, probably thought out with some rational behind it - not a crazy man talking.

Great post!

What is hot is Video SEO right now with "Universal Search". I built a small "viral studio" that is dubbed the Media Mix Stream Studio and have figured out a few techniques to just dominate video SEO. What better way to get your message and brand out there than video?

Most startups really do not understand SEO, viral marketing and especially how to their blogs to gain much needed exposure. Twitter? Most do not get it yet. How else do you build a brand and customer base with as little money as possible?

I am really blown away when I hear about a "hot all star team" startup who has raised $7mm. I look at their blog and then watch them get beat up on John Cook's blog comments. The entrepreneurs do not even know how to do blog/community damage control?

It is all about leveraging you blogs, videos and building your own community with hard work. Leverage the new tools, listen to Wine Library TV's Gary Vaynerchuk interview here to glean more info.
