Washington Technology Association: Predictions for 2009

WTIA 2009 Predictions Dinner

This Tuesday, Nov 11 I’ll be joining a few folks trying to guess what technology innovations are expected in 2009 and beyond. This is my second attempt at this exercise as I did it last year too. One of our Pressplane developers thought he’d help me out by offering “Worldwide economic collapse! Hoard guns and whiskey now!!” Hmm. Good one. I’ll use that.

Maybe I’ll see you there.

I can’t wait to see all of the predictions for 2009 technology. It moves way too fast, it seems only yesterday was the industrial revolution.

What we are in for soon is a program that will take any negative thought that a person may be fixed on and give him or her a multitude of positive alternative choices - from which that person will be able to choose that one that best suits their liking and which they feel is most likely to work for them - and then this can be introduced to the person a number of times per day on their screen or iphone and this will be ushering in the thinking revolution -

“That a man can change himself… and master his own destiny is the conclusion of every mind who is wide-awake to the power of right thought.”

    Christian D. Larson (1866-1954)
