A Curious company has been acquired

It wasn’t long ago that Curious Office took an interest in Peter Cooper’s project called FeedDigest. We used the system ourselves on several sites. FeedDigest is a professional service (built on Ruby on Rails) that blends and converts RSS and Atom feeds to other formats for publishing. Based in Russia, Vicman Software is acquiring the company for an undisclosed sum. We’re very happy with the outcome and we look forward to working with Peter again in the future if the opportunity presents itself. It’s been an interesting year for us in that we’ve found ourselves associated with a lot of innovative and aggressive European investors. Imagekind was primarily funded by a large European VC and other individual German investors. I hadn’t heard of Vicman software before Peter mentioned them to us. But, it seems they have a thriving consumer business and even more ideas for the future. Anyway, congratulations to Peter for the sale and for developing such a useful product!
